UNYSE holds a NYS Department of Labor Asbestos Handling License for design, inspection/survey, project management and sampling. unyse does not conduct abatement activities. Staff maintain multiple certifications, specific to the aforementioned services.

UNYSE maintains firm certification under TSCA 402 to provide lead paint activities. Staff are also accredited as inspectors, risk assessors or abatement supervisors.

UNYSE staff have completed Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) mold certification. TDSHS is the only unit of government in the USA that currently offers an approved certification.

UNYSE staff have completed the OSHA 40 hour General Site Worker as well as the nationally recognized 24 hour Hazardous Materials Environmental Sampling course.
